How to Braid a Four-strand Challah

Hello! This post is to show how to braid a challah with four strands. Here we go:

Begin by seperating your loaf dough into 4 pieces. Set three aside and roll one out.

Roll this into a snake and stretch the snake as far as you can until its equal throughout  in diameter and about 1/2 inch.

Repeat with other three strands.

Grab the most left strand and weave it through in the pattern over under over.

Repeat with next most left strand.

Continue pattern until you have reached the end, then tuck the ends underneath the challah in a small twist.

Flip around and repeat on other side.

Hope I helped. 🙂
