Hello! Yesterday I posted Cheese-filled Hamburger Sliders. Well, if you have leftovers… You could always eat it as is, make a breakfast burger out of it or you could attempt a meat version of my Vegetable Scramble. You could use this as a topper for toasted bread, in a breakfast burrito, or even alone. The ideas are endless.
You may be asking, “How?” Elementary, my dear watson, elementary.

While making regular french toast I may have made chocolate cake french toast…. It was beyond delicious. I’m talking about mouth orgasms. The beautiful crispiness yet softness of the chocolate cake (my recipe found here) paired with the beautiful cinnamon was gorgeous. It was in total, brilliant.

It’s been crazy here. It’s finals in school and they are working us to death… I cannot believe I found time to post this, let alone cook anything for this post. 🙂
I decided I’d cook something quick, so I made french toast for myself and my family. The brilliant part of french toast is you can take the bread you want to use and some cookie cutters and cut shapes to make french toast out of. This morning I decided to make my siblings heart-shaped french toast.
I have been having far too much fun baking. From baked pancakes to pretty chocolate cake, I have been spending most of my time baking. Today I made chocolate cake. The cake made the entire house smell so chocolate-y… It was fantastic. The only change I’d make to this would be to add chocolate chips for the full-chocolate experience… But that’s just me.
Hello! I has been a tad too long since the last time I posted a breakfast recipe. Knowing that, I created these delicious banana chocolate chip pancakes. These pancakes were perfect. They were very banana-y, but you could still taste the buttermilk pancake while being chocolate heaven. In total, a fluffy, sweet banana breakfast. I hope you like it as much as I did.
I honestly was not quite expecting to find a crockpot potato salad recipe… I was just reading a magazine and came across it and decided I had to try it. Of course, I made quite a few necessary changes…. When a recipe calls for half an onion in a recipe like this.. No, that’s not going to cut it.
It took 5 hours to cook it, but it filled our house with the best smell. And the taste… I admit the potatoes were slightly under-cooked, but the flavors were amazing. The mustard, vinegar, celery, bacon…. all of it together with the potatoes just tasted amazing. I highly recommend it, although it doesn’t quite keep as well as I’d hoped.
Hello everyone! How has your weekend been? My weekend is flying by. Yesterday my family asked me to make dessert because we were having company over, so I decided on cookie bars. I could have sworn it was only 12 when I had tied my TARDIS apron and was ready to bake them but no… It was already 3. Do I just take random naps and not remember them? It’s starting to seem that way…

Hello! Oh my, its been an entire day since I posted… :O Last night I made dinner for my family and used this basic sauce as a base for a potato bake I will be posting later. I have used this recipe in a variety of recipes and it has always worked out. Hopefully you get as much use from it as I do.
As for the lack of pictures,I got the most pictures I could at the best quality I could but because it cooks quickly and you are stirring or adding most of the time, it was difficult to get any. Sorry I could not get any more, but hopefully this will be just fine.
Bechamel sauce is really a plain white sauce just waiting for flavor. It is super simple to make and done in minutes to be put on pasta, be baked into something like this potato bake (will be posted soon) or drizzled on a meal. No matter what you use it on, it will always be the same base.
