My Supernatural Murder Mystery Birthday Party

This year was the big one (or one of them), I turned 16. And of course, I had to have a sweet sixteen birthday party. Now, while most kids consider a sweet sixteen to mean, have everyone you know come over and show off how awesome you are, I decided to invite 13 people and create a murder mystery in February. So, I set off to start the party planning.

After many hours of tedius online research to see what a murder mystery party should look like, my mom deicded to help me out and we decided having it as a conversation to a previous murder would be more fun than seperating the group to go find evidence and the murder victim like some of our internet sources said they had. And it was fantastic. And brilliant.

My Abbadon Cosplay

Hello! I had a ton of fun making my abbadon cosplay. It all started with finding my leather jacket… 😉

I made my own The Devil Made Me Do It shirt and made instructions that you can find here but otherwise you can buy the shirt nearly anywhere. For the costume, I wore the shirt, a pair of my black skinny jeans, my black Doc Martens, a leather jacket and a lot of makeup. I have naturally red hair, so all I did was put it into a fancy up-do. As for the makeup, I used this video as my guide but I used a cheaper way that wouldn’t last as long. The person in the video used liquid latex for her neck, while I used Elmer’s glue and toilet paper.

Meatless Meatball Failure

I attempted tomake a vegetarian meatballs and it did not work out in the slightest. It all started when I saw a pin on pinterest on pinto bean meatballs, so I attempted the recipe and it said to serve with marinara sauce. We only had mystery sauce in the freezer, so I decided to take a chance and heat it up. It ended up being a meat sauce. Needless to say, it did not work out. This was a first try dealing with beans, and it will likely not be the last. At least I know for next time never ever to use beans, meat and tomatoes together unless you are making a chili. It just does not work out. All well. Still, it was disgusting.

Anyone have any recommendations on what I should make next?

Hello!

My name is Athena and it appears you have found my blog. This blog right now isn’t quite ready for anyone to see it, but I am going to try to post a new recipe each week and eventually it will get to a point that human viewing will be acceptable. 🙂

Until then, a little about me. I am a huge fan girl. I love science fiction, whether it is a book or a tv-show. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember and am excited to be making my own recipes or tweaking previously existing recipes to make all sorts of food. I cook nearly nonstop, and read nearly as much.

As for this blog, I will always take advice. If you see a typo or a spelling error, please let me know as soon as possible. The same way, if you have a recommendation for one of my recipes or you didn’t like something on my blog(especially the photography), I’d love to know and learn from it. I plan to post all sorts of recipes, although likely it will be mostly baking. Every now and again I will make a fandom-themed food recipe and will definitely take requests.

I hope you enjoy, my first food post will be posted within the week. 🙂
