Hello! 🙂 Before this recipe, I had never heard of zucchini blossoms. Due to the amazing witchcraft of the internet, me and my Granny put together probably one of the most scrumptious and also most unhealthy meals(with how many you eat, it becomes a meal) of fried, cheese-stuffed zucchini blossoms. But it was worth every last bite.
We made these for when my grandpa came home, but unfortunately for him, most of them were devoured the second they came out of the pan.
Let the deliciousness begin! 😛
Happy late Jewish New Year! I hope this year of 5775 has been good to you already. 🙂
If you’re reading this, you likely have some idea of Jewish religion or at least the holidays and traditions related to them. If not, then you should know Rosh Hashana is the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashana has some awesome food traditions- like apples and honey (which, if I may say, the BEST fruit combination in the world) and round challah. So for Rosh Hashana, my family was treated with an amazing meal consisting of potato latkes (what’s a Jewish holiday without them?), apples and honey, and some meat. Let’s focus on those latkes though. Latkes- some of the most beautiful creations in the world. Salty, potato pancakes that are irresistable, and usually gone before dinner (not even kidding-this has happened a few times).
Ah, latkes. They may be the death of me…
This time we made fresh latkes out of potatoes, an onion, some salt and some oatmeal. That’s really it, it is one of the easiest pancake recipes I make. 🙂
Hello! Tonight for dinner my family had a simple but delicious pasta dish. I made it with some fresh tomatoes picked straight from my grandmother’s garden. (Thank you grandma Jean!)
Hello! I don’t know about you, but I have always loved fall. Fall, the time of golden leaves and the nice breeze. Assuming you don’t live in Arizona. Even though I don’t get any fall-lke weather, I can still enjoy the yumminess that comes with fall. Like my absolutely favorite flavor, pumpkin. Already, I’m getting excited, I just got my first cans of pumpkin for the year and can’t wait to make some baked heaven with them…Until then, I guess I’ll have to return to my pumpkin-less cooking. Earlier this week, I made this delicious creation of pasta, sausage, spinach, mushrooms and (of course)onions.
Hello! This pasta salad is bright pink and with bow pasta, to fit into Salem’s Minnie Bowtique Party. It is fairly simple to make colorful pasta, just boil water and add food coloring rightafter dumping the pasta in. The pasta becomes soft as it absorbs the boiling water, so if the water is blue, youll have blue pasta. For Salem, we made the water pink and added the bow-shaped pasta and got this beautiful result. To make the pasta salad, we added some poppy seed dressing, green onion, olives, corn, peas and onions and mixed it together. All in all, the guests were impressed with this easy, delicious pasta salad. We also served Minnie and Mickey Fondant Cakes and Minnie and Mickey Oreo Pops.
Other ideas could be:
- Boiling three pots of water and splitting the spaghetti into the pots with different colors, then mixing them together to creat a tricolored spaghetti dish.
- Adding a bit of blue food coloring to Macaroni and Cheese to create a green-blue result.
- Using the color and pasta type for a themed festive event and serving pasta or pasta salad.
Hope you enjoyed. Feel free to email me with any questions at email@example.com
Hello! Here we have a four ingredient (plus seasonings) scramble for dinner… It only consists of meat (I used 2 lbs of beef), (1 lb) potatoes, (an entire) bell pepper and an onion. Only other additions are any seasonings you feel like. I used garlic salt, pepper and a bit of cayan pepper.
Hello! The other day I was expecting company, so I decided it would only be right if I baked some sort of good. Of course, my first idea was my quick and delicious cookie bars. I begin to start the recipe and preheat the oven when I realize, we are out of butter. Of course, cookie bars cannot be made without butter, can they? So I decided to try. I used only banana instead of the butter and continued making the recipe. Not sure what to expect, when this beauty of a cake-y cookie came out, I was delighted. No one could stop eating these, and it’s probably more than half the fat my cookie bars are. Of course, that likely won’t stop me from making either again.
Here is the cookie bar recipe copied and pasted and changed slightly to be banana ‘cookie’ bars. 🙂
Hello! Today I have made a smoothie, seeing as it is warm outside and impossible to go without one.
Hello! Here is a breakfast bake for two. 🙂
Preheat the oven to 350*F and grease a cookie sheet. Place your bagel on the cookie sheet.
Hello! Lately, I have been in the mood for Sloppy Joes. The taste of flavorful, saucy meaattt on a crispy bun just sounded amazing. And I was right…. I had never made a Sloppy Joe, but I knew it had to be fairly easy if you added the right seasonings. The only Sloppy Joes I had ever really had weren’t homemade, so when I tasted how flavorful this was, I was blown away.
