4 Ingredient Dinner Scramble

Hello! Here we have a four ingredient (plus seasonings) scramble for dinner… It only consists of meat (I used 2 lbs of beef), (1 lb) potatoes, (an entire) bell pepper and an onion. Only other additions are any seasonings you feel like. I used garlic salt, pepper and a bit of cayan pepper.

Banana ‘Cookie’ Bars

Hello! The other day I was expecting company, so I decided it would only be right if I baked some sort of good. Of course, my first idea was my quick and delicious cookie bars. I begin to start the recipe and preheat the oven when I realize, we are out of butter. Of course, cookie bars cannot be made without butter, can they? So I decided to try. I used only banana instead of the butter and continued making the recipe. Not sure what to expect, when this beauty of a cake-y cookie came out, I was delighted. No one could stop eating these, and it’s probably more than half the fat my cookie bars are. Of course, that likely won’t stop me from making either again.

Here is the cookie bar recipe copied and pasted and changed slightly to be banana ‘cookie’ bars. 🙂

Sloppy Joes

Hello! Lately, I have been in the mood for Sloppy Joes. The taste of flavorful, saucy meaattt on a crispy bun just sounded amazing. And I was right…. I had never made a Sloppy Joe, but I knew it had to be fairly easy if you added the right seasonings. The only Sloppy Joes I had ever really had weren’t homemade, so when I tasted how flavorful this was, I was blown away.

Sourdough Toast topped with Sauteed Mushrooms and Scrambled Eggs

Hello! I felt like making a savory breakfast this morning, so I decided to make some sauteed mushrooms with eggs and toast. Of course, it had have all of the flavors wrapped all together, so I put them all together in this eye-pleasing (and tummy-pleasing) dish. The only change I would have to this is to add some green, likely spinach because I love the mushroom-spinach pairing but possibly kale(?). Feel free to share your thoughts.

Sausage Meatloaf

Hello! It’s been ages since I last posted… School just got out and I feel like I’m more busy nowwith al the stuff I’m doing to occupy myself then when I was filled to the brim withstuff I needed to do. Anyhow, I have had every opportunity to cook, and I have. The other night I made sausage meatloaf with pork sausage being the only meat in the meatloaf. That translates into a long cooking time but a delicious result.

Hamburger Breakfast Burrito

Hello! Yesterday I posted Cheese-filled Hamburger Sliders. Well, if you have leftovers… You could always eat it as is, make a breakfast burger out of it or you could attempt a meat version of my Vegetable Scramble. You could use this as a topper for toasted bread, in a breakfast burrito, or even alone. The ideas are endless.

You may be asking, “How?” Elementary, my dear watson, elementary.
