Hello! 🙂 Before this recipe, I had never heard of zucchini blossoms. Due to the amazing witchcraft of the internet, me and my Granny put together probably one of the most scrumptious and also most unhealthy meals(with how many you eat, it becomes a meal) of fried, cheese-stuffed zucchini blossoms. But it was worth every last bite.
We made these for when my grandpa came home, but unfortunately for him, most of them were devoured the second they came out of the pan.
Let the deliciousness begin! 😛
Hello! This past New Year’s Eve was a big one for me, I had my now boyfriend’s family coming to my house for dinner and dessert and had to think of some sort of celebration dessert that would make tons of servings that everyone would love. My head, of course, flew first to my favorite bar recipe of all time, my cookie bars, but the only problem I could see was the amount of butter and the limited portions for our guests. And for at least three teenagers being there, that just wasn’t going to cut it. So, I took a chance and decided to go the ‘new’ route. If I didn’t have a good recipe that made tons, why not find/make one?
I’m not quite up to the entire making your recipe from scratch quite yet, as I am still exploring the basics of some cooking skills. This being said, if I see a recipe, there is a 95% chance I’ll base it off the recipe and call it good enough. This past New Year’s was a perfect example of that. I decided on these RASPBERRY confetti cookies, but I didn’t have some of the called ingredients, you know, like raspberry jello. But they turned out well so therefore, mission accomplished.
Hello! The other day I was expecting company, so I decided it would only be right if I baked some sort of good. Of course, my first idea was my quick and delicious cookie bars. I begin to start the recipe and preheat the oven when I realize, we are out of butter. Of course, cookie bars cannot be made without butter, can they? So I decided to try. I used only banana instead of the butter and continued making the recipe. Not sure what to expect, when this beauty of a cake-y cookie came out, I was delighted. No one could stop eating these, and it’s probably more than half the fat my cookie bars are. Of course, that likely won’t stop me from making either again.
Here is the cookie bar recipe copied and pasted and changed slightly to be banana ‘cookie’ bars. 🙂
Hello! Remember that challah? Well, as delicious as it was, it’s getting kind of stale now. So what better to do then to make challah french toast?
Hello! Beautiful day out when you have leftover frosting. There is just so much to do with it.. Eat it straight, have an excuse to bake a cake, mix it into a variety of things… Or you know, bake some frosting cookies.
Hello! These are buns for my cheese-filled hamburger sliders. They can be done with or without yeast but I am showing the yeast-less version. 🙂 They are less sweet with yeast.
Hello! Happy Buddha Day! I will be posting a craft later… Lotus Lanterns… until then, I am sharing a fun little idea you might enjoy…. Avocado macaroni and cheese. Super simple, super fun and super delicious. The avocado made it rich and creamy while the lime caused it to be perfect. I hope you enjoy as much as my family did. This is for about 2 pounds of macaroni and cheese.
Add 4 whole avocados(without the pit and skin so I guess not whole per se….), 1 tablespoon lime juice, some salt and pepper and 2 teaspoons of garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Add to macaroni and cheese in place of milk. 🙂 Enjoy. It’s that easy.
🙂 This is the egg-less version of my Dexter-themed strawberry crepes. I hope you enjoy.
Hello! How has your Mother’s day been going? This morning I made a Dexter-themed Mother’s day brunch. Each year for Mother’s day I have a fandom theme. Previously I’ve done Nightmare Before Christmas and even Alice in Wonderland, but this year I chose to do Dexter. For those of you who have no idea what Dexter is, it is a brilliant TV show about a serial killer killing other serial killers. I highly recommend it. Anyhow, each year I make a menu and my mother picks exactly what she feels like off the menu and I make it for her.
This year’s menu:
Happy Mother’s day! Today is the perfect opportunity to attempt to make brunch. Here are some simple recipes to help you out:
Banana Chocolate Pancakes – Use some leftover bananas to create some fast, fluffy, chocolate-y pancakes for this morning.

Garlic Potatoes– Make some soft, flavorful potatoes with some crispy bacon and some eggs for a full-rounded meal.
Vegetable Scramble – Take some vegetables and eggs and whip up this easy breakfast for your mother.
